Welcome to MUBCyouth! We get together in different ways through the school year, and we’d love to get to know you through one of the ways we gather – in a small group, as a bigger (noisier) youth group, and on camp. We’re about connecting, having fun, and hearing about Jesus… who he is, what he did, and why it matters for us today. We welcome any high-school aged teens, no matter what background or belief.
One of the best ways to connect, build real relationships, and encourage each other is to get together with a smaller group of people your age. That’s what Fuel is for – it’s all about reading the Bible together, sharing life and praying for each other.
Fuel is for yrs9-12, meets on Sunday arvos from 4:45 – 5:45pm, and is followed by a youth-friendly service at 6pm. If you want some more info, ask a leader or contact the church office.
Our main gathering is currently every other Friday night from 7-9pm in the MUBC auditorium. Dates will be advertised on Facebook and the MUBC website, or contact the church office. We usually chill for the first half hour before getting into the activity/games for the night, then have supper around 8pm. We’ll have a short talk a bit later and some small-group discussion around whatever topic has been raised, then chill for a bit before heading home for the night.
We do ask $3/youth to help cover our expenses, but it’s worth it!
A couple of times a year we get together with other youth groups from around the state and country; one of the favourites is State Youth Camp – this one is open to anyone who has been coming along to youth for a term or so, and is a real blast!
